The pressure relief valves are intended for equipment protection against impermissible overpressure.

Used in reservoirs, boilers, tanks, vessels and pipelines for automatic discharge of working fluid to the atmosphere or to an outlet pipeline. After pressure has dropped to the required level the pressure relief valve stops discharging fluid.
