On June 11, 2024, Korvet Joint Stock Company turned sixty years old. The history and present day of the plant are inextricably linked with bright, purposeful individuals, who are distinguished by professionalism, dedication to their chosen work, rich production experience, desire for professional growth and sincere love for their native enterprise.

Founded in 1964, Korvet JSC company has many years of experience in the production and design of shut-off valves. For more than 50 years we have been producing gate valves, shut-off valves and block components.
In the 90s of the last century, as part of a conversion program based on import substitution, a large-scale reconstruction and technical re-equipment of production facilities, engineering facilities and testing laboratories was carried out. As a result, the production of equipment for oil and gas production, which had not previously been produced in the Russian Federation, was established in all respects covering international standards.
The company's products are supplied to the following subjects of the Russian Federation: Volgograd region, Astrakhan region, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - YUGRA, Tyumen region, Kaliningrad region, Republic of Bashkortostan, Republic of Tatarstan, Komi Republic, Irkutsk region, etc.
Thanks to the presence of the necessary production and testing base, as well as highly qualified personnel, the manufactured equipment in terms of technical, operational parameters, and environmental safety corresponds to the best world standards.

We strive to improve the quality of life by improving the organization of production and introducing progressive high-performance equipment, responsible business conduct and attitude towards our people.
We annually update our equipment fleet. In 2023, in order to increase production volumes and increase labor productivity, the following were purchased and put into operation: two three-sided drilling machines Ningbo HDFQT2002-64S, a vertical CNC milling machine Akira Seiki HV4.5, a vertical CNC milling machine Solex VM1260S, a rotary lathe Solex VNL100H CNC machine, 5 SOLEX CNC lathes, 11 hydrotesting stations, Kuka robotic welding complex and other equipment. As a result of equipment purchase, it is possible to increase and update the fleet of machine tools, speed up the processing of workpieces for the DS-600 and Valvecentr-6VT machining centers, stabilize the volume of production in the procurement workshop, and increase the capacity for the volume of production in the main workshops.
In order to ensure the utilization of progressive equipment in 2023, 1,619 technical processes and control programs for them were developed and introduced into production, including: 495 sets of technological documents for complete mechanical processing of parts by cutting on machining centers: DANOBAT (Spain) model Valvecenter -6VT; Trevisan (Italy) model DS300/70C, DS600/200C, DS900/300C; Mazak (Japan) model Integrex E-670I, and 1,124 technical processes for processing parts on advanced equipment of other models.
High production indicators make it possible to increase employee wages. In 2023, the average salary of personnel working at Korvet JSC (not taking into account senior managers) was 63,815 rubles.
Social responsibility
The company pays great attention to the team and improving the qualifications of specialists at all levels. Training is carried out both at the enterprise and in educational institutions. In 2020, 1,666 people were covered by various types of training, in 2021 - 1,474 people, in 2022 - 2,042 people, in 2023 - 1,619 people.
Every year, about 80 students from higher and secondary vocational educational institutions undergo internships at the enterprise.
The enterprise has organized work on labor protection and the prevention of occupational diseases, and finances the work of the health center. In 2023, 3,845,700 rubles were spent on medical examination of employees, 1,124 people were examined. 500,000 rubles (250 jobs) were spent on a special assessment of working conditions; 100,000.00 rubles were spent on conducting a fluorographic examination of 286 people.
During 2023, medicines, dressings, and equipment were purchased for the health center in the amount of 116,300 rubles. 5,089,700 rubles were spent on sanatorium and resort treatment for employees. Financial assistance was paid for dental prosthetics in the amount of 103,400 rubles.
There are canteens on the territory of Korvet, where high quality food and low prices are maintained. A three-course lunch costs an employee no more than 70 rubles. Expenses for subsidized meals for the company's employees in 2023 amounted to RUB 31,135,600.
The delivery of second shift workers was organized at the expense of the enterprise; expenses in 2023 amounted to 1,523,500 rubles.
As a help for employees affected by emergency situations, financial assistance in the amount of 5934.6 thousand rubles was paid.
The company has The Rehabilitation and Recovery Center on it's territory, specializing in the non-surgical treatment of diseases of the spine and joints. The list of services used by the company's employees includes: consultation, massage procedures, hydrotherapy, physiotherapeutic procedures, various options for physical therapy, vibration massage and traction. Employees of Korvet JSC can receive services with a discount of up to 30%.
Every year, money is allocated for New Year's gifts to children of employees - in 2023, 1,347 New Year's gifts were given out in the amount of 983,000 rubles. By September 1, all employees whose children entered first grade were given 95 sets of writing and school supplies.
With funds from Korvet JSC and personal donations from the previous general director of the enterprise, Anatoly Vasilyevich Chernov, the total amount of which was to more than 200 million rubles, in 2016 the final stage of work on the restoration of the Cathedral of St. Alexander Nevsky in the center of Kurgan was completed.
